What is an email action?

The send email action sends an email to the contacts in the element.

How do you use it?

  • Place the email block in your workflow, usually following a deadline or condition;

  • The configuration pop-up window gives you the option to:

  • use an existing email

  • create a new email

  • consult your email management page

Good to know!

  • What happens if I modify the email associated with my email element(s)?

If the email selected in the email element is edited and modified, the changes are then directly transmitted to the published workflows that use this email.

  • Can I use the same email multiple times in a workflow?

Short answer, yes... at your own risk :)

  • If several elements of a workflow use the same email, a warning message is displayed when the workflow is published. This is to draw your attention to the fact that the same email will only be sent once to a contact.
